We want to thank everyone who came out and helped support the park with some very tasty sweet corn.
Our volunteers roasted and served up 8 cases or 384 ears of corn. A big thank you to everyone who volunteered to help make this year’s corn roast a great event. As a volunteer working that day, I have to say that the sense of community and friendly neighbors coming out to support the park really warmed my heart. The Humboldt Park Friends group is a wonderful group of neighbors who volunteer their time and effort to support and improve Humboldt park, and we are always looking for new members!
Profits from this event will fund HPF projects including the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Jazz at the Vine, Tree Day, and Junior Ranger books for children.
