Humboldt Park Lagoon Restoration Nets Sweet Water Funding
MILWAUKEE (April 10, 2018) — Humboldt Park’s 125-year-old lagoon will be getting a little makeover beginning later this spring, thanks to the efforts of volunteers and a $4,100 grant from the Southeastern Wisconsin Watersheds Trust (Sweet Water). Humboldt Park Friends (HPF), a nonprofit volunteer group, is one of 14 groups receiving grants from Sweet Water this year.

If you have a family, like excellent food and service, supporting local businesses and love Humboldt Park, 10% of the proceeds from Kindred’s Sunday Suppers this month go to Humboldt Park Friends. Sunday Suppers served family style, 5-9 pm. Reservations are required at least a day in advance. Children under 8 are free. One child per adult. $24.00 per guest plus tax and gratuity.

Humboldt Park Beer Garden Soft opening May 9 Grand opening on Thursday May 11
The season will open on May 9 with a grand opening on Thursday May 11.
The beer garden season will run from May 9th till September 30th.Each week on Friday the beer garden will feature a tap takeover by a different Wisconsin brewery. On May 12th the first tap takeover will be hosted by Lakefront brewery.
The beer garden is operated by Saint Francis Brewery in partnership with the Milwaukee County Parks.
St Francis Brewery donates an additional $1,000 toward the Humboldt Park pavillion bathroom renovations.
